Experiment
Looking for jobs and internships is an integral part of college, but how do you get anyone to notice you when there are 500 other kids chasing the same spot?
You go to where the company’s attention is. Whilst on the search for an internship, I wanted to find a way to get on company’s radars. One thing I knew is that every great marketer/business owner periodically google’s their company to see how they are doing, whether any competitors are stealing their traffic or they're so old school that they go to their website through google search. So, I decided to run a targeted google ad promoting my website on my target company’s google results, split tested various CTAs and made the landing page a funnel to receive my Resume. And this is how it went: You work for ASD company. You google ASD as per previously mentioned reasons, and at the very top of search results you see an AD “Hire me as your intern- Mert Gulen”. You click on it and go through a funnel to receive my resume but already have an idea of my knowledge in Adwords, digital marketing, graphic design and branding. Results
